As your camera moves away from the sculpts, they will become increasingly simplified by Second Life's "LOD" Level Of Detail settings. While they are optimized to look good from any distance, you can increase your LOD for all sculpts using the following steps
If you do not see the "Advanced" menu, press Ctrl-Alt-Shift-D.
Under the "Advanced" menu, choose "Debug Settings"
In the text field type "RenderVolumeLODFactor"
Change this Setting to 4.000 (or higher)
