this is Doom classic, work perfect to me
USE TO WORK
Bought August 18, 2021, it worked then. Sadly it seems to no longer work, nor does it seem like the creator has any intentions to fix it.
Unplayable
It's cool for decor I guess, but when I try to play sometimes I spin around like crazy and cant stop. Dont know why this is happening. Also the quality is really bad of the game. Disappointing.
Limitations
This cabinet works, however the lack of strafe is an oversight and severely limits movement, making the game unplayable at higher difficulties. This, and the low resolution, makes for a very difficult experience.
Good arcade product
Overall, the Doom arcade unit is a decent product. The HTML5 media makes this game highly compatible in SL without the need for Flash. The detail in the art and general build is of high quality. I gave it 4 out of 5 as I wish there were some mod abilities to customise it a bit e.g. marquee brightness, game screen fullbright etc. I would also like to see a texture animation over the screen for those who have not started the game media. Overall, I would still highly recommend this game.
