ArchiTech Design Skybox Helper
This tool analyses your land parcel and helps you decide on size and positioning for domes and other sky homes.
It can also help you ensure that the size of any house you want to place on the ground will fit.
The tool offers the following benefits:
• Reports parcel size and maximum dimensions
• Locates the centre of the parcel for positioning sky domes and homes
• Advises on the largest dome size or house footprint size that will fit the parcel
To use the Skybox Helper, simply rez it on your parcel and click the box.
The tool will display a progress bar above the box while it scans the land (see picture.
When this is complete, it reports the parcel size and the maximum dimensions (X and Y) in chat (see picture).
It then displays the X,Y coordinates for the centre of the parcel, followed by the maximum size (diameter) of sky dome that will fit.
If the land is not a perfect rectangle (if it has sections cut out), it will report the fact and display a graphical map of the parcel.
If sections of the parcel are owned by you, but split into a separate parcel, this will show too.
Please note that if the parcel is not a rectangle, the centre of the parcel and maximum dome size may not represent the true values for the parcel.
