Ardo's Secret Bookcase Set

A versatile set of bookcase units in four types of wood.

Each type of wood has two bookcase parts, one scripted as a secret door and the other unscripted.

Important:
Each scripted door has a base prim which is needed for the door mechanism to operate correctly. This base prim is set below the floor level of the bookcase, so it remains unseen under the floor you rez it on.

Make sure to lower the bookcase door so that the base of the door is in contact with the floor.

Once you have chosen which wood type you prefer, rez a door and a unit. For instance if you like wood A rez 'Ardo's Secret Bookcase A Door v1.0 (scripted)' and 'Ardo's Secret Bookcase A Unit v1.0 (Unscripted)'.

You can rez as many of each as your needs require, but you would typically rez one scripted door and as many unscripted units as you require to fill your given space.

The bookcase parts are 100% mesh, so linking them together provides considerable discounts in land impact. For instance:

Door only = 1li
Unit only = 1li
Any two parts linked = 1 li
Any three parts linked = 2 li
Any four parts linked = 3 li

You can change the parameters of the door by changing the values in the 'Timeless Door Script (Touch & Collision) Vers.2' script in the door prim of this 2 prim bookcase object:

1. Check Edit linked.
2. Select the Content tab.
3. Open the full perm 'Timeless Door Script (Touch & Collision) Vers.2' and follow the instructions within.
4. Remember to delete the description in the linked door prim, and reset the scripts before resizing.

If you make a mistake, simply delete the object and start over.
