The fabric in this screen is an example of European Arts & Crafts textiles that were imported to American during the late 19th and early 20th century and incorporated into American Craftsman furniture. Your room divider/privacy screen lets the owner change the basic pattern to any of three different variant authentic color schemes. The Art Nouveau screens coordinate with rugs using the same textile pattern.

The Craftsman style of furniture is often popularly referred to as “Mission Style.” Craftsman furniture is simple in design, high quality in construction, and uses natural materials like hardwoods and leathers. Unadorned, plain surfaces are sometimes enhanced by stains and dyes, but these are never allowed to obscure the grain of the wood or pattern of the leather.
