Ideal for merchant's customer support, event organisers, or anyone who regularly needs to contact a list of people.

Give it a list of names and it will output the online status and profile link for each one.

Great for when you need to contact a list of people, send them items or check if they are online.

Includes both rezzable and HUD version (works in no-script zones as long as you are wearing when you enter).

Can also look up a single avatar from chat input.

SETUP

- LIST PROCESSING -
Simply copy a list of names* into the Names notecard in contents, one name per line.

Touch and select "Get List" and Contact List Finder will look up each name and say the details in the Local Chat window (visible only to the owner).

Open Local Chat (Ctrl-H) to click on profile link to send items or instant message.

- SINGLE NAME LOOKUP -
You can also search on a single name by selecting "Lookup" and typing (or copy/pasting) a name in the TextBox there.

If you're using one of the rare older viewers that can't use text box, or prefer to enter a name directly in chat, you can put any channel number you wish in the Contact List object's description and the script will apply it from there (click 'Channel' in menu to update). You can then type "/<number> name" to search.

- NAMES -
Names can be in any format listed below, but must be user names NOT display names.
Capitalisation does not matter - Contact List will return the user's correct name capitalisation.

The following formats are all ok:

firstname.lastname
singlename
SingleName Resident

- CHAT CHANNELS -
When using HUD, be aware that changes made to object while worn can be lost when detached. If you wish to set up a permanent input channel, rez in world, edit then take back to inventory and wear.
