The Astaro Admiral is modeled after the famous HMMWV used by the United States Military. This set comes with 6 variations of the truck, including, Slantback, Wagon, Softtop, Pickup, Caliber, and Ambulance. The new SVT engine allows the Admiral to traverse rough offroad terran with ease, and allows it to pull heavy loads. 6 colors are included with some versions also having red and yellow.

Fairly good car, not the best but works good for Military RP
Needs and update
THis Truck is mad old Most of it works adiquitly. But the scripts are really old. when you take the doors off the windows stay. The Driving Scripts are really old... It looks really good in the picture but when you really see it in SL is far from that good looking

looks great however the handling takes a bit to get used to.
Too expansive
This vehicle should cost 1000l$ and not 1950l$ , the scripts are basics , when you turn the car do a high spin , the wheel have a weird animation when you turn , it's great build with some nice accesories but it doesn't worth the price
The car is really nice with great sculpt work and has some very good features, like changeable licence plate. The pure driving works quite good, but there is no traction control, so its not easy to hold the car straight - this was normal in former times, but today there are more accurate driving scripts.
The driving animation is ok, but the driver does not really hold the wheel, this should be adjustable. I need the car for machinima, so I had to find workarounds to give it a more realistic touch.
Normally I would give 4-5 Stars. The reason for 3 stars only is the ignorance of the seller/builder. I asked an urgent question twice, sent 2 IM's and one notecard - no answer, not even within weeks.
PS: The Builder contacted my meanwhile and apologized. His Emails had been capped and NC not yet arrived. Ok, then I change my stars up to five since the car is really good :-)
