Atlantis RP Ancient Scroll Notice Board Text Type to Prim V1.3
=I N T R O D U C T I O N=
This is a great tool for allowing visitors or staff to leave notices, or for you to promote your goods or an event. I built this notice board as usual lol on request from Lillith Reanimator one of my closest friends in SL. Hope you enjoy it too : )
=F E A T U R E S=
Your Ancient Scroll Notice Board is mod, so change it to suit your style as you please. The notice board is also 1 touch to rez and clear away, use the packing box it comes in to position your board, do not move the board itself, as not all the prims are linked.
= I N S T R U C T I O N S=
a). To use your notice board simply rez the box it is contained in and touch it. Touching the box will bring up a blue pop up menu, to rez your board, select the build button.
b). To make positioning the board easy, it has been packed using a builders buddy. To position your board, all you need to do is move the box your board was contained in and it will automatically move the board. Please DO NOT move the notice board itself, as not all parts are linked.
c). To begin typing on your board, simply touch the parchment area, a message will appear on local chat asking you to type the message you wish to appear on the board. Type your message in local chat and it magically appears on the parchment.... Ooooooo spooky lol.
d). To erase what has been written touch the parchment again and type the word erase in local chat.
e). You may want to make the packing box invisible (Remember you can always see invisible/transparent objects by selecting view from your viewers tool bar, then Highlight Transparent) or hit Ctrl-Alt-T. To actually make the box transparent, right click it select edit, select the texture tab, click on the texture squre with the Atlantis RP logo in then select transparent texture from your standard inventory textures.
