Heads-Up, Super Scanner User!
Before you dive into scanning the diginal fashion runway, here are a few quick things to keep in mind:
1. Same Region, Same Vibe: The avatar you want to scan has to be in the same region as you. Teleporting across the grid won't work( sadly, we haven't invented quantum scanning yet).
2. No HUDs Allowed: Sorry, HUDs are camera-shy and won't show up in your scan.
3. Body Attachments Only: The scanner only detects items worn on the body － no detecting people's secret inventory folders.
4. Dancers Beware: If your target avatar is doing the cha-cha with someone, or just moving like a squirrel on espresso, the scan might have a tough time locking on.
How to Use (a.k.a. How to Be a Scanning Legend):
1. Right-click on the scanner and select "Add" to wear it.
2. Aim your camera at the avatar you want to scan. Pretend you're paparazzi － just less invasive.
3. Click the little human icon on the scanner HUD.
4. Wait a moment for the results － no angry red error? You're golden.
5. Want to see your last scan again? Click the "Last Scan" button. Relive your greatest hits.
6. Use the "+" or "-" buttons to tweak the scan range (between 1m and 20m from your camera).
Pro tip: shorter range = better precision, but you will need to zoom in like you're filming a nature documentary.
