This Auction Board has been modified with permission from the free version by Tulip (dawn.pienaar) available at https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/Auction-Board-Full-Perm/7321079. The main change has been to give the option of either a standard payment system, or a role-play system in which all payments are notional or local currency, leaving the owner to negotiate with the successful bidder.

*** The ONLY moneys taken from the owner's account by this board are the refunds described below when the board is in 'L$ Mode'. NO COMMISSIONS OR HIDDEN CHARGES are taken. ***

The board has an owner-only menu which offers the following options:

- L$ Mode/RP Mode: If L$ Mode is selected, bidders' payments in L$ are refunded when a higher bid is made, but the final successful bid remains PAID, and the auction item is sent to the successful bidder. If Role Play is selected, ALL payments are notional* and the highest bidder must contact the auction board owner to negotiate for the item.
- Price: This option sets the starting price; the starting bid must exceed this value.
- Time: This sets the time limit for the auction. To make a quick test, use the Custom option and choose a few minutes.
- Start/End: This starts or ends the auction. Once the auction has started, bidders may make any payment higher than the current bid by right-clicking the board and selecting Pay from the pie-menu.
- Bidders: List all bidders & bids.
- Reset: Reset board for new auction

Instant Messages are sent to notify the owner about the progress of the bidding.

*For RP usage the owner can specify a currency unit (default Z$) in the object description field.
