The tree offered for sale here is in the center of the picture, with a person standing under it to give an idea of scale.

This tree is also available with a leaf emitter built right into it to give a realistic effect of gently falling leaves without added prims. Please see my other listings..

Tilia cordata (Littleleaf Linden) is native to much of Europe and western Asia, north to southern Great Britain, central Scandinavia, east to central Russia, and south to central Spain, Italy, Bulgaria, Turkey, and the Caucasus; in the south of its range it is restricted to high altitudes. It is a deciduous tree growing to 20-38 m tall, with a trunk up to 1-2 m diameter.

It was much planted to form avenues in 17th and early 18th century landscape planning. In the countries of Central Europe linden flowers are a traditional herbal remedy (linden flower tea), considered to be of value as an anti-inflammatory in a range of respiratory problems: colds, fever, flu, sore throat, bronchitis, cough and others. A valuable monofloral honey is produced by bees using the trees. The young leaves can be eaten as a salad vegetable. The white, finely-grained wood is a classic choice for refined woodcarvings

This tree looks more realistic than many of the 3 or 4 prim trees on the market. It is all in the texture!
High quality texture with no alpha halo, set to natural light, not bright so it does not glow in the dark. Unless of course you want it to glow – it is modifiable so you can shrink or enlarge it to suit your needs. You can also copy it so you can set out an entire forest or line an avenue.

I started landscaping on a history sim where 1/3 of the prims are reserved for tall ships and texture lag can sink a ship. Conserving prims, using low prim items, allows for more role play props to be rezzed. And using high quality, quick loading low lag textures make for convincing detail. Botanica is dedicated to providing the best low prim, low lag landscaping on the grid. After all, a prim saved is a prim earned.

Come see this and many other trees, flowers, and crops in my in-world garden.
