As one of the most luxuriously decorated apartments of the Palace of Versailles. Installed on the ground floor of the palace since 1768, the apartments of Mesdames Tantes reflected the taste and sophistication of french craftsmanship in the intimate, carefully decorated by the best artisans of the day, the collection "Aux dames de France" recreates most of the pieces today exhibited on Madame Victoire's bedroom. From the gilded bronzes, to the silks designed by Phillipe Lasalle in 1776, they have been replicated with accuracy.

Lovely collection
I used this collection as a music room/dining room set in our home. The drapes are fantastic and the portrait fits perfectly above my cellist chair.

This assemblage is beautifully designed and realised to augment the perfect sitting room. It would be nice to see more of the items from the appartement de mesdames tantes.
