Sure, everyone in SL has a radar, and they all do a lot of the same things. The AvRad HUD offers a few unique features that set it apart from some other radars. The AvRad HUD has arrow pointers to the direction of avatars it is tracking. And it's not all one color, but displays avatar list in different colors based on the distance from the wearer. The AvRad (Avatar Radar) borrows from what I consider to be the best radar in SL, the radar included with the Omicron 2 HUD from The Omega Concern. But this is just the radar without all the other features of the Omicron 2. The radar gives information on direction, distance, elevation, names (SL names and display names), actions (sitting, flying, etc.), and region coordinates. The display is configurable for colors and included fields, and offers a narrow, normal, and wide display per line. Sounds indicate the arrival of a new avatar into the region and into chat range. Includes a RegionSay utility and an invisibility option. The invisibility option renders your avatar completely invisible, not merely offset below ground or floor, and also hides any tags you have. Know who is around you at all times with this handy utility.
