Offline and want to know if your mate is online? Set the ATA for Email/Text mode and receive an email when your friend signs on.

Online but AFK, yet you want to know when your friend signs on? Set an Audio Alert and listen for the sound that signals your friend has signed on

Online but have a mate you think may be hiding their online status from you? Set the ATA for Alert mode and find their true online status.

You can use the Avatar Online ATA in one of three modes. Alert, Audio Alert, or Email-Text Alert. Clicking the HUD will cause a menu to pop up. Select "Next" or "Prev" to scrool through the avatar's you have configured until the avatar's name you wish to monitor is showing over the HUD. Once it is showing, select one of the three modes from the menu and monitoring will begin. Each mode is described below.

Alert - This mode will simply read the status of the monitored avatar over the HUD.

Audio Alert - This mode will read the status of the monitored avatar over the HUD plus it will sound an audio alarm when the monitored avatar is online. The sound will repeat approximately every 20 seconds until the HUD is clicked and the alert is stopped.

Email-Text Alert - This mode will monitor the chosen avatar and once their status is "online" a message is sent to the configured address alerting you that the avatar's status is now "online". Once it sends the message, the Avatar Online ATA will switch itself to the off mode. One message is sent and the Avatar Online ATA must be reset if you wish to have it send another.

The Avatar Online ATA comes setup as a HUD but will function exactly the same if rezzed in world. The difference being that your avatar would not have to be online for you to receive the email-text alert. However, you would have to setup the desired alert before you logged off. Modify Permission have been given so that if desired, you can rez your Avatar Online ATA in world and resize it to your desired size.
