This is a replica of the last working Roto_Sphere of Route 66, at The Comedor Restaurant, Moriarty, NM.
I created it in Blender, as a MESH object.
It has a very low impact: 3 prims, only 2 LI. Scripted to rotate like the real one (i tried to reply even the speed of the real one: see it in motion here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GI9cqXQ9kqA)
It comes in 3 sizes: the biggest one is approximately the actual size of the Roto-Sphere at Moriarty (they're big, yes, and very heavy too). That means a 5 meters high total, roto-sphere and pole, approximately. I added two other sizes, in case you want to use them in your dance hall or on the top of your Christmas tree... :D They're approx. 2,85 mt and 1,15 mt high.
The script is low lag too, consuming AT MOST 0.18mbyte and 0.00ms (ms per frame)
See item in Second Life- Replica of the rl Route 66 Roto-Sphere
- Rotates like the real one!
- Only 3 Prims - 2 Land Impact
