This handsome rendition of a Baroque Royal Armchair was finely crafted in England by Rodas Fine Quality Products using superior meshes and highly detailed textures.
The term Baroque (circa 1600-1750) is applied to a very ornate, exaggerated style of furnishing. There are differences within the Baroque genre, but in general, the style lends a dramatic, theatrical quality to it's features which are large, symmetrical, and heavily ornate with expensive materials.
True to heritage, this armchair has an elaborately carved wooden frame with an ornately embellished top rail, and generous arms that curve gracefully down to heavily decorated legs. The luxuriously rich fabrics further define it as Louis the XVI in style. The chair sits in a natural manner with a realistic shadowed base.
