[BHSI] KRYPTID Combat Helmet Versión 4

Good helmet, worth the purchase, i love all the extra bits the helmet can give~!

It’s a decent item, but suffers some when trying to make something without scuffing or weathering all over. Also, many of the shapes don’t really allow making a smaller scale helmet, with a smaller muzzle. It’s something you can’t see in the photos.

In a market with what feels like a limited selection for good helmets for anthro characters, this is a really good package.

Highly customizable for making it yours, textures are really high quality as well as the mesh work on the helmet and addons for it.

Honestly could charge double what's being asked for and it would still be highly worth it.

This is a pretty slick helmet that works well for just about any outfit or armor set out there. Meshes really nicely with popular sci-fi armor sets. It features a great deal of customization and modification, just begging to be kitbashed together with all sorts of bits and pieces.

There are a few things I would like to see/mention for this launch iteration of the build:

1.) I found the method of customization a bit different than what I am used to, the parts selection isn't HUD based, rather Kit based, meaning once rezzed all parts are spread out in to one linked item. You will have to un-link/delete/re-link pieces to create your desired design. In the future, I would like to see an expanded HUD for these options if at all possible.

2.) There's a form of base "Head" that all attachments link to, while this does the trick in creating a near seamless design, there is a lack of object faces in the base head. I usually prefer semi-translucent visor designs and was hoping to be able to see my own head/eyes under the visor. A couple of extra faces on the base could open up a totally new world of customization. There is a bento jaw delink/link workaround which is designed to work with avatars with bento jaws, however not being able to see the upper portion of the bento avatar head through this base head is a bit strange.

3.) The creator and team state they're happy to create custom textures for anyone for a fee or free depending on what is being asked, however this being a full mod item with as much depth and customization as it has, a PSD link, UV mapping, or DevKit would be a great addition to this helmet and could extend the overall product lifespan.

All things considered, this is a great piece worth every L$. I hope to see this set expanded upon in the future. You get a lot for what you pay for, and it makes for a great framework for a helmet that fits with just about anything.
