[BI] B. Borealis Head

I want to love this head, it's actually my favourite head on the marketplace. But the LOD is just too low on it.

When you zoom out, the head breaks, and fixes when you zoom in again. All in all, I can't use it unless this problem is fixed. Which is doubtful, because I don't think the creator is very active anymore.

Wanted to love, but just can't.

The head looks awesome but the head applier won't open for me even if I reset it. such a bummer.

very very cute head, got it along with the sumatran kuroo skin to make my first male avatar and I'm in love! The only downside is the eyes are 2D, not separate parts, which makes them look a little dull and flat, and pretty much impossible for the average person to customize. Besides that, its a very unique head and definitely one of my favorites!

This is pretty Unique head.. had some Praise and some weird looks lol like what kind of head is that and such but its all good one little thing that kinda bothers me is the Grump look with its mouth wish there was a way to make it more neutral but no biggie still awesome :D

This is a good head that puts itself apart from the others with a more exotic shape and a great starting texture while still being in a good price range!

That said there's a few minor quirks I personally thought could be improved on.
-> The tongue out mesh could have some more geometry to look rounder and its scripting should automatically turn it off when the jaw isn't in the proper position (tongue clips through lower jaw when jaw is moved either manually or through the talkjaw)
-> The scripts needed re-setting to function. Unless this is an approach you already tried there are ways to reset the script automatically when the owner changes.

Seriously, I wouldn't have guessed this was a first attempt, all I can say is Bl did a great job. Mind you, I had some trouble resetting the scripts but this is no fault of the product's, you just need to reset it a few times until it works. The applier is also pretty easy to set up, it has the same basic rules as the Red Remora avatar appliers so I didn't need to do much besides paste the UUID. I haven't really noticed much glitching with this head, sometimes there may be a light seam between the eyelid states but it's not really too noticeable to me, and the talk-jaw may seem a bit slow but that's usually if you're in a complex region or if you're wearing too many addons. While this head can be used for a number of species, I find that it looks best for sabretooth tigers, which is why I bought it - just add long fangs to the upper jaw and maneuver them to fit into the muzzle so they're next to the lower jaw fangs when the jaw is closed: it really emphasizes that primitive Stone Age look! I've also found that if you're not pleased with the current default eyes, you can remove them via select face and set transparency to 100%. So far, I've noticed that Hakuhn Elcano's rainbow eyes are pretty easy to adjust as long as you have time and patience, just edit the shape as needed then move the eyes manually to fit - pretty much the same rules as Paws heads. Literally, my only pet peeve is the fact that there aren't more mods for this yet XD but of course, it's only a matter of time before this baby picks up and more people start using it, until then, I can tell I'm going to have fun modding this myself. All in all, well worth the price, I sincerely hope Bl plans on making more unique heads like this! It's a refreshing change from all the generic cat and dog heads available.
