The Cormorant is a Schooner of 37 meters length, 2 masts, 7 sails
It comes in 2 versions:
- With a living space / cabin under deck, 194 Prims
- Without cabin, 181 Prims
The Cormorant is drivable
Permissions are mod and copy, no transfer.
** This boat is easy to move, its in one piece, no avatar attachment or hud is needed - but please consider that it does not sail with SL winds.
Ride the Boat
--------------------
Rightclick the Shipwheel and choose "Sail" to ride this boat by using the keyboard arrows, its that simple.
The boat has several sitting poses for your passengers, placed in the reilings, on deck, at the front and the rear uf the boat and a drunkard pose on deck in friont of the mast.
Be sure passengers are seated before you start sailing.

Use the setup button to chose who can drive your boat.You can also chose to disable the driving scripts to prevent lag
Choose the color of the sails or to hide/show them.
Sail colors:
- White
- Black
- Red
- Dark Blue
- Green
This would be the third Blackspot ship I've bought, and for good reason. These ships are the highest quality I've seen on SL (or Xstreet) . From the details to the textures, to the sound FX they are worth every cent, and the only way to go if you want a realistic looking Tall ship. This particular ship is smaller then some of the others, being a schooner, and well suited for a smaller area. The prim count is perfectly sensible considering the level of detail, and the movement is as good as you could ask for. The menu is easy to understand and easy to use.
The ONLY thing I would ask for is giving the drivable ships the ability of basic flight. As there are not many good oceans to sail in SL, might as well sail the skies. ***EDIT NOTE*** WOW Never mind that last comment, the ships CAN fly! outstanding!*** Overall, I am a very satisfied customer, and would strongly suggest this ship it IS the best your going to get. (trust me I've looked)
Looks great, big cargo hold.
Would of been better if it also had a "Whitelist" feature of people who can drive it, most of the time a ship has to be set to the land group to prevent autoreturn which isn't very flexible if you only want a few people who aren't part of that group to drive it. Cruise control would have been a good feature as well.
Much smoother rider then I expected, however the latency is between 0.400-1.500 on idle to between 2.000-4.500 when active.
