No resize script

I have a small avatar, I also knew that the item was no mod. However I did expect some sort of a resize script added at the very least. So now im stuck with a huge weapon for a smaller avatar, with no way of changing it.

While the actual model of the item looks nice and clean, there are others on the marketplace for a little bit more, one that has full permissions. I'd avoid this one for sure, I have tried contacting the creator to add a simple resize script and have not gotten a reply.
