This is a swordstaff. A weapon used in Sweden around the early 1500s by Swedish peasant soldiers and men at arms. the name came from its blade type which is technically a tiny sword which is then placed on a staff and added crossguard. the Name Swordstaff is not a modern term it was both named Schwertstaff in german and sverdstaff in Scandinavian accounts in text or Stavsverd.
