I recommend you purchase the goose neck and some sort of long, slender bill for the optimal crane experience.

The crane mod set includes a texture for the griffin body and plumage (skin textures shown are from the Griffin HUD - the beak is BVulture and everything else is Onyx) as well as two crane shapes: one for the Snode goose neck and the other for the normal griffin neck. Edit the shape's head length if you run into seam problems with your chosen beak.
