// Roleplay //
=========

Breach supports the CCS combat system but our weapons should function in nearly all combat systems, so long as they accept standard bullet collisions. We have a special roleplay mode to remove features that are normally illegal in RP sims. Please make sure our weapons are allowed where you want to roleplay before purchase.

The following information is only applicable to the CCS system:

LIFE damage goes directly through perception, buffs or abilities.
MELE damage can be blocked by perception, buffs or abilities.
STAMINA loss cannot be blocked.

Full auto is unenhanced and will only do base collision damage (10 MELE in raycast).

Standing
* FMJ
- 20 LIFE, 1.5% LIFE damage
* Hollowpoint
- 15 LIFE damage, 50 MELE damage
* Rubber
- 25 MELE damage, 15 STAMINA, 1.5% STAMINA loss to target

Prone
* FMJ
- 25 LIFE, 1.8% LIFE damage
* Hollowpoint
- 15 LIFE damage, 65 MELE damage
* Rubber
- 25 MELE damage, 15 STAMINA, 1.8% STAMINA loss to target

Combat Settings
------------------

Settings define the effects of the bullet on avatars. Settings can overlap and be used in addition to each other, although some effects will override other settings there are no side effects even if all settings are enabled at once.

Push - Physical push on an avatar, only works in areas that are not push restricted.
Phantom - Bullet turns volume detect, will only collide with avs.
Non Phys - Rezzes a non physical tracker that follows after each projectile, strong against shields.
Scanner - Non physical high speed scanning bullet. NOTE: 96M range.
Direct - Damage is a direct property of the bullet rather than delivered through a kill prim.

Warhead Types
------------------

Warheads define the behaviour of the bullet on collision. The warheads can let you hit targets behind walls, use splash damage etc... Only one warhead can be set at a time.

Standard - Regular bullets.
Explosive - Bullet explodes on impact doing splash damage in a 1M radius.
HE Cutter - Detonates on impact, fan shaped 4M kill zone behind point of impact.
Incendiary - Ignites target on impact. No splash damage.
Armor Piercing - Penetrates first object hit.

I purchased this gun for L$1400. It is version 1.0.2 at the time of purchase. There were many bugs. Since then the 1.1.4b version has come out which has addressed most of the problems.

1.1.4b review->
The menus have been fixed so they're more intuitive, e.g. pressing "RP: On" will actually turn the RP system on instead of turning it off.
The look and sound of the paintballs have also been fixed and improved.
Many other smaller tweaks and bugfixes have also been added along with preloading of sounds, although I'm not sure if the paintball ammo preloads as well.
Also, LL seemingly fixed the collision problem the non-direct damage ammo experienced.

1.1.1 review->
The damage, text, and dialogue errors were fixed.
The bullets still have bad collision problems, however the phantom and paintball bullets (rarely work because of collision problems) seem fixed.
There are now direct damage bullets which is good for actually killing enemies in sims with rules against using seekers or shooting through prims.
The menus still are counter-intuitive e.g. pressing "practice" to disable practice mode.

1.0.2 review->
The model is great and the animations are good, but it still has a number of problems.

*The regular damage bullets RARELY kill. They also ricochet badly and pass through avatars. Eata says it's a bug with SL that will start being patched the 12th. In places where phantom bullets and non-physical bullets are disallowed, this gun won't be of any use.

*The paintballs don't work and the mode isn't displayed correctly in the menu. Eata says it has the wrong bullet.

*The phantom bullets somehow collide with objects.

*Many buttons are counter-intuitive e.g. pressing "combat" will disable combat mode, pressing full-auto will enable semi-auto, etc.

*The command for reload is too long to use in combat "/1reload", so you need to make a reload gesture to make it more simple such as "r".

*Enabling combat by clicking "practice" displays a message that push is enabled. This is confusing because push is off by default. It just means that you *can* use push.

*The silencer makes the gun louder and it appears that the silenced and unsilenced sounds are mixed up.

I would recommend this gun after some of these concerns are addressed and will update my review accordingly.

This is a brilliant product. Well made, great features and still being updated to fix any issues.

It does things that other guns can do, often better, and in my opinion with more style.

One suggestion would be to change the default plywood textures on prim surfaces hidden inside the gun. Sometimes you can see them and it's not a good look :P That's a very small issue, though.

5 stars!

Breach continue to exceed in...everything. I'm a fan of Breach, mainly for roleplay uses and seeing the M14 in Second Life i came straight onto here and bought one. The model is superb! The scripts are well done and the walking animations are a great help, especially for those without an AO and for those who's AO would look weird while holding a rifle.
10/10 for building
8/10 for scripts

There is one slight drawback, when switching between options on the weapon. Such as the sock colour or the scope depending on how laggy the sim is it can take a while. But usually re-attaching or relogging helps the issue. Other than that this is a must buy for Breach-lovers.
