About the product :

The greeter is a product, created by the BST Corporation's owner, Jody Palmer. The greeter detects visitors within a preset distance. The visitor is greeted in open chat. The script remembers this visitor and registrates how many times he is visiting. The script remebers up to 1800 unique visitors/avatars. When there are more visitors, the ones who stayed away the longuest, will be deleted from the list, this to prevent the script to crash due to lack of memory. (Script error 'stack-heap collission' protection) The visitors are greeted, the script chooses a random line from the first 5 lines you enter in the notecard. You have the option to set amounts of visits. Once this amount is reached, the script will choose out of the next 5 lines. This way you can greet visitors that come by a lot, in a different way. there are 5 levels of greetings, each level has 5 lines the script picks one from.
eg : you set the borders to 10,20,50,100, then when a visitor reaches 10 visits, on the 11th visit he will be greeted with a line, choosen from the second pool of lines (in config notecard). When he visits the 21st time, he goes up to lever 3 and get greeted by the next five lines.

Tip ! -- If you don't want to use this option, and greet everyone in the same way, set the borders to 99999,99999,99999,99999
Tip ! -- If you want everyone in the same level greeted the same way, so they get the same line over and over when they arrive, set every line of the same pool in the config notecard the same. When the script picks one of the five lines, they are all the same anyway.

You have the option to give the visitor on his very first visit a object, notecard, landmark and/or texture.

As owner, you can touch the greeter, and you get a pop up menu, asking if you want a overview of all visitors. Click "Yes please" and you get a list of visitors, together with the amount of visits. The visitors that are on top of the list are the most recent visitors.

As long as a visitor is in range of the greeter, he will not keep recieving greetz. He is greeted once. When he leaves and comes back in range, he is greeted again. So make sure you set the distance big enough, but not to big so you greet people nextdoor.

You have the option to enter a list of names, these people are VIP's and will be greeted with five lines from an other pool.

You have the option to let the name of the visitor appear in the greeter's line.

The greeter will llSay the lines when the distance is set up to 20 meter. IF the scan distance is further then 20 meter, the lines will be shouted.
