"Unseeing eyes lift,
And look as if straight through my soul,
A sadness chokes my words,
No voice can be found."
These words the beginning of the poem "The unseeing captive" Talks about two beings one on each side of the bars. Each not truly seeing the other.
A very special piece made for a customer from a Photograph she took years ago at Woodland Park Zoo. The Ocelot resting on the tree staring out unseeing inspired the poem and the piece.
