The Omega Concern's BTR-90 is a model and simulation of the amphibious armored personnel carrier in use by the Russian military and Ministry for Internal Affairs (MVD). The BTR-90 is designed for a wide variety of roles, for fire support, transportation of personnel, surveillance, reconnaissance, and patrolling. The Omega Concern's BTR-90 can hold a crew of two: a driver/commander, and a gunner, as well as carrying four fully equipped soldiers.

Dang. This holds up well.
You can tell that it is getting long in the tooth but, frankly this 2012 product (earliest review date i saw) holds up hilariously well in 2026. It comes feature packed with an easy to use hud and it is a gorgeous set-piece for any roleplay event. Really really heavy on LI compared to many other products on the market today, but I think that that just has to be a consequence of its age. It is however a shame that it is no-mod and comes without texture templates.
I havent seen any new releases from this creator for many years now, but I hope they're still out there and living their best life. Much love <3
Highly recommended!
Drives well, turns heads & as advertised; its even capable of amphibious travel. It also comes with extensive & detailed documentation, a non-cluttered hud and overall it just boasts all-round great quality. A 5/5 product.
Great
bought it love it still working out how to use it properly reading manual just whish there where more selection of russian vehicle such as T90 or MI 35 or MI 28 then i would defently buy some more to add to my collection
Another great product.
Once again, Omega creates an outstanding vehicle with the utmost detail. There are at least two other BTR-90's available in Second Life and they're both fairly good, but this one simply blows them out of the water on looks alone. The driving mechanics take a little getting used to (I highly recommend all owners READ THE MANUAL before operating), but make the task of shooting AND driving a much simpler task. The vehicle is indeed very functional in the water, though it moves a bit slower when compared to other amphibious tanks available, this is no doubt a nod towards it's detail towards reality over second life convenience.
Still, I easily give the Omega BTR five stars and would recommend it to anyone in the market for any amphibious tank. It'll turn heads and then proceed to blow them right off with that cannon.
Kudos!
This is as fun as you'd expect it to be, looks as good as it should - and comes in the quality you'd await from Omega Concern. Long time customer, never let down :)
