[BW] PzKpfw VI Tiger - Medium Tank
Tiger I is the common name of a German heavy tank developed in 1942 and used in World War II. The final official German designation was Panzerkampfwagen VI Tiger Ausf.E, often shortened to Tiger. It was an answer to the unexpectedly impressive Soviet armour encountered in the initial months of the Axis invasion of the Soviet Union, particularly the T-34 and the KV-1. The Tiger I gave the Wehrmacht its first tank mounting the 88 mm gun in its first armoured fighting vehicle-dedicated version: the KwK 36. During the course of the war, the Tiger I saw combat on all German battlefronts. It was usually deployed in independent tank battalions, which proved to be quite formidable.

Excellent Tiger Tank
I bought this tank quite awhile back and while I don't use it often it's fun to pull out and putter around in. It looks and sounds authentic, and I love that the reload sound is included. The turret rotation as well as gun depression and elevation are very nicely animated. It occasionally has issues with collision on some objects that a real tank would roll right over, but that's more so just limitations of SL physics.
In response to another review complaining about the size, if one uses the measurements for the real Tiger I tank and makes a box to size, this tank fits within proper scaling, and is not 'too small.'
8.45 m (with gun) Long x 3.56 m Wide x 3m Height for reference.
Good, but...
The tank looks good and at the price it is on the market, seems to be a bargain..but...But, it has a problem, it's far too small...The Tiger tank, was big...generally speaking, german tanks were heavy tanks!...big ones!...well..this is it, maybe an update will solve this problem, I mean the possibility to modify the shape.
