Mines sparkle without adjusting lights thank you.

I used to love jewelry in SL, used to be able to make it sparkle and glitter amazingly in the light, but it seems PBR ruined things in that regard. I always would mod jewelry mesh with a blank white specular layer to max out reflections, and no normal layer as that seemed to detract from the sparkle.

I see a bit of sparkle/glitter on this piece, just the lips and betty though, the chain/gems doesnt give me any sparkle. In regards to the areas that do sparkle, I think there may be too much uniformity or homogeneity in the angle of all the little gems, when they are sort of uniform in their angle, it looks too perfect, and not enough randomness as you would get with a RL hand-set gem-encrusted piece, where tiny mis-alignments of the gems would cause the reflective faces to have a less consistent, regular, predictable reflection pattern.

In a digital world, its the imperfections that make things look realistic to our eyes which reside in an imperfect real world.

I feel this specific piece didnt look as best when the light hit it! But when I went to the sun being set and even midnight it looked really good! Boop Oop A Doop!
