This is a realistic mesh 3D scripted Bald Eagle (Haliaeetus leucocephalus).

Thanks to a low-lag, no-nonsense script, this bird will circle above your sim and emitt a real Bald Eagle call at random intervals.

With all the tech changes in SL, I don't fault this creator. He's a handsome eagle and I'm sorry he doesn't function for me.
