Ball Maze Package

Here are the pieces you need to set up your own functioning ball maze (aka. kinetic sculpture), which even includes dominoes! You can set up the maze in many different ways! Once your maze is set up, rez the ball at the top, give it a little push, and watch it work its way through the maze!

The box itself is 1 prim, and the components themselves are fairly efficient on prim usage. How many prims you end up with depends on how you set up your maze.

When you buy the ball maze, you will get a package that contains the pieces. To unpack it, just rez it, click it, and select to unpack it to your inventory.

The ball maze consists of pieces which you can put together in many different ways! You can even modify pieces, make new pieces, and sell new versions!

Ball maze platform:
A place to spawn the ball maze ball. A good starting point for the maze.
Note: You can also set up multiple platforms and spawn multiple balls to be pushed by dominos or the upward energy transferer.

Ball maze ball:
Comes in different colors and there is even one that acts as a light. It is pushable. Spawn this at the beginning of your maze, and give it a push off into your maze!

Ball maze (and Ball maze v.2):
Also a good potential starting point for a maze. You can spawn the ball at the top and watch it fall

Pieces that let you build your own track for the ball to follow:
Ball maze straightway,
90 degree ball maze right turn,
90 degree ball maze left turn,
Ball maze turns (a combination of turns and the straightway)

Maze Ball Upward Energy Transfer:
Designed to be used with the dominoes. Make sure you move this up off the ground. Place a set of dominoes so that when they are knocked, they will push the base of the device. Put something else (another maze ball, or more dominoes) to be pushed by the device above.

Domino board:
A set of dominoes that get progressively larger, building up force as they fall. The self cleaning version has a script to delete the dominoes for you once they are knocked down (you still have to delete the board). You can set up the maze so that the ball hits near the top of the first domino to knock them over.

Ball Maze Spiral:
Comes in 4 forms (regular, x2, x3, x4). This is a spiral for the ball to roll through. The regular version is the quickest, with 1 revolution. The number refers to the number of spirals. The x4 version takes about a minute for the ball to go through. My favorite is the x2 version.

Ball Maze Funnel:
A funnel to catch the ball after it drops, and funnels it. A good way to knock down the dominoes is to funnel the ball into the top of the smallest domino. The funnel is available in wood, metal, and glass.
