Ballinger's Temple of Jupiter Optimus Maximus is based on the Capitoline temple in ancient Rome. ]it has a FOOTPRINT of 60m wide by 67m deep, but only 255 prims.] Rebuilt several times over the centuries, it was one of the most opulent in the city, with statues of gold, ivory and bronze and a roof of gold tiles. The main sanctuary was dedicated to Jupiter, with two side sanctuaries, each with its own entrance, dedicated to Juno, his wife, and Minerva, his daughter.
