The light was tinted a particular green under the bamboo forest canopy, the cicadas humming loudly under the midday sun.
We continued walking, happening under the glowing fae stadning stone markers now and then. The whole experience had an exotic, other-wordly filling, and I often wondered if we had unwittingly walked into the fae realms.
