Baron Samedi is the gravedigger, master of the dead, great magician and healer; can dispel curses and black magic & cure illness. Colors are black, white and purple; favors ron, black coffee and bread. His wife is the loa Maman Brigitte. Cognate with St. Martin de Porres.
