This stunning Art Deco furniture set has been designed and textured to complement your home.
There are two chairs, both remapped so the gorgeous Art Deco print fabric fits without distortion. There are seven poses for adults, ranging from curled up in the chair, to sitting and reading, to deep conversation, to meditating. If you happen to be a kid, or smaller avatar, there are 10 poses that have been optimized for smaller bodies (all the adult ones, plus a few that take advantage of the relatively larger seating area available.)
There are also four poses that let you perch on the arms of the chair. Since those are in the arm, not the cushion, it means that 2 people can use each chair at the same time.
Each chair also has 2 pillows, with a beautifully realistic damask texture on one that echos the print in the chair fabric.
The star of the grouping is an original sculpted table, based on a wonderful asymmetrical Art Deco table from RL. It's made from two pieces of curving maple that rise gracefully from a wooden platform that is supported on two long "feet" stained black. The curves are balanced and strengthened by chrome pillars, and the top is black glass held in a beveled maple frame.
Light, shadows, and reflections have been baked on for an amazingly realistic effect. And yet, the entire table is only 5 prims, including the shadow underneath it.
You won't find anything like this anywhere else in SL.
On the table you'll find an original stepped and twisted vase, also based on a RL Art Deco piece, with a gorgeous glaze that's graduated from salmon at the bottom to pale yellow at the top, picking up the colors from the chair fabric. Once again, the glaze has baked in shadows and highlights, so it looks amazing.
In the vase is a sprig of Plumeria, the newest flower from the Arctic Greenhouse, delicately recolored in shades of yellow and white.
Also on the table you'll find a copy of Vague magazine and a pulp fiction mystery titled Murder in Bay City, because it's important to have fun!
Touch the book, and you'll get a copy of the mystery that you can read while you sit in the chair. That readable book is also an original sculpt, carefully textured for realism. (There's even real text on the two open pages, and although the resolution isn't high enough to read them from the sculpt, you can still read them if you can figure out where to look!)
Tying it all together is a rug that features the same subtle pattern found on the green pillow, with a wide border that echos the colors in the vase.
The oval rug is also an original sculpt, so you don't have to worry about any alpha sorting issues!
You can buy the entire set here or in world, or you can get the individual pieces by going to the store in world. Come and see it! You'll be glad you did.
