Well, the waves ARE more visable on say, a lake you've created, but on an LL beach at the edge of your sim, they're good too.. It does say "Gentle Waves", not "Crashing Surf".. They are more visable in a higher graphics rez too, but either wsy, they do enhance the shroeline of either lake or ocean beach, it just depends on what you want I suppose... :)
Very nice for built beaches. For SL beaches, the moving textures are barely visible against the waves already there, but the ambient sound is a very nice addition either way.
