Great Price, nice details
I got this for a project to save some time making it for myself. The mesh is good, a little on the dense side, but has good land impact regardless. It is a really nice set...
but...
The uv mapping on some of the pieces is just horrible.. the blanket for instance, is at an almost 45 dregree angle and only covers MAYBE 40% of a texture space. The mattress is almost as bad, but at least it is straight, still only using about half of the texture space. This creator has talent, and does good mesh, but could truly spend a little time optimizing the UV mapping. If you dont mind crooked and poorly mapped texture space, then this is a good deal. Otherwise, I just honestly can't recommend this to anyone.
Yes, I am fully aware of the standards of reviews in SL. And, if this were something that could be fixed in world, yes, I would have contacted the creator first. As it is, parts of the mesh need to be completely re-worked to improve the UV mapping. There are countless self help methods out there, as well as other SL mesh makers who may provide useful knowledge or assistance.
I give 3 stars, simply because it has good detail, and land impact, as well as alot of useful helpers like uv maps and shade maps.
