The Bee Hive is very simple to setup and use....
Features:
------------
- A swarm of "Temp Rez" bees will chase down and attack intruders continuously nudging and pushing them till they leave (or die if damage is enabled). It wont teleport the intruder the hive is more of an aggravation attack, the constant buzzing and nudging attacks will continue as long as they are present. (which is alot more fun :P)
- Its constructed with the new SL Sculpties which reduced the prims needed by 2/3 and increased the realism at the same time.
- No need to be deeded to use, there is an access control list to allow others ability to control it if you wish. Housemates will appreciate this.
- Guard radius adjustable from 5m --> 100m radius. When active a small swarm or "particle" bees hover around the nest.
- Hive is aware of property lines and will not attack anyone beyond its current property... However the bees will chase its victim past the property line for a short time. :)
- Can be activated by touching it or by voice command("Hive")... in the event a visitor is not on the friend list a quick shout will abort any attacks and de-activate the hive. **BEWARE** Renters will need to rely more heavily on the guard radius as landlords typically subdivide and the hive wont know the difference between your property and the neighbors.
- Friends List to allow friends to go unharmed.
- Bees will inflict damage if property has damage enabled.
- Hive is copyable, so you can have a couple of them guarding smaller areas on your property if you like.
- The attack bees are "temp rez" meaning they will not count against your regular prim count when they are out and attacking :P (The hive itself is only 3 prims.)
Operation:
-------------
- Unpacking the "Box" will have created a directory within your inventory and placed the Hive and this Manual in it.
- Just "Rez" the Bee Hive and then place it where you would like it.
- "Touching" the Hive will activate a control menu to choose the desired protection radius 5m --> 100m. Once a radius is selected the hive is active and will be evident by a swarm of bees surrounding the hive.
- "Touching" the hive again will de-activate.
- In the inventory of the Hive is a "Friend List", just add the names of people you wish to be immune from attack to this notecard.
- In the inventory of the Hive is a "Access Control List", just add the names of people you wish to have control access to the hive.
- Saying or Shouting "Hive" will also activate/de-activate the hive. If the hive attacks someone accidentally because they haven't been added to the friends list a simple "Hive" shout will abort the attack and de-activate the hive.

Forget about those security systems that boot people from your land. This bee Hive home security system is absolutely the best not to mention so much fun!! It absolutely works as described and it's better than any attack dog.

not user friendly...nice idea, but not worth the money. I perfect waste of money.
I wrote the names of my friends in both the access notecard and the friends' notecard and they still not able to control the beehive and they were attacked. I had to rez it and derez until it finally accepted one of them. The "Hive" statement doesn't regardless of the different ways it was spelled in local and despite whether it was "said" or "shouted". I regret wasting my lindens on it.
