"Berezka" store - Pripyat Chernobyl

This is a 19 land impact building, copy&mod. Footpringt is 17.5 meters x 12.5 meters.

This SL build was closely modelled after the original store situated in the abandoned city of Pripyat, in the chernobyl exclusion zone. It has a rusty and worn look. It features realistic textures and a 3D mesh sign above the entrance.

The "Beryozka" ("Березка") was a chain of public stores in the USSR. One was active in Pripyat before 1986 and was situated at Friendship of the Nations ("Дружбы Народов") street no.6. Like the rest of the city it was abandoned in 1986 after the disaster at the Nuclear Power Plant and the subsequent nuclear fallout. The real building in Pripyat has partially collapsed in 2013.
