A blackroom (aka darkroom) is a wonderful tool that can help take your photos to the next level! While ambient light permeates everything in SL, a blackroom can help block out local lighting effects giving you more control over the environment.
This blackroom is built as a simple square with dimensions just over 10x10x8 m. The outside is a simple green marble but everything is set as copy/mod so that you can reshape it and retexture it to your liking. The blackroom itself is 6 prims but it can be reduced to 3 by setting it to convex hull. It comes with a built-in door with simple open/close scripting. A light orb is included which turns off and on with a touch.
A notecard has also been included with other techniques that can be used if you need to achieve even deeper darkness.
This blackroom was specifically sized to be able to pair up easily with Geek Chic's greenscreens and bluescreens which fit snugly inside.
