After years of making fine coffins, I've finally turned my hand to a proper crypt to keep them in. In doing so, I've designed an opulant Victorian Neo-Gothic crypt. The architectural style is reminiscent of my Blackthorn Manor, so I've christened it Blackthorn Crypt.
Blackthorn Crypt features deadly but delicate spires along the arched roof, and lots of decorative railing. Touching the wrought iron gates open them and the iron bound wooden doors into the crypt itself. Inside is a small shelf for displaying the included candles and cross. Two separate cells enclosed by wrought iron fences and gates inside provide places for two coffins on the enclosed beir.
Not readily apparant is the secret door beneath the shelf that opens into a small third chamber. Perfect for stashing away Barnabus' coffin after his naughty escapes at Collingwood ;)
As a special bonus feature, I am including one of my Traditional Mahogany coffins. Sleeps one in a traditional RIP pose. This coffin is being included with copy permissions, so you can make as many as you want for the crypt.
The Round medallion above the entrance window is the security control, allowing you to lock the crypt to keep others out. You can also create an access list so friends can visit and pay their respects.
Approximately 15m wide x 16.2m deep footprint and uses 108 prims (but fully modable if you wish to cut down on prims). Permissions are mod, copy, no transfer.
