Blue Dragon SkyCube

Now you can have your house set in beautiful surroundings which can change at the touch of a button. This is an advanced mesh skybox with a built in floor and many different panoramic scenes to choose from.
The SkyCube uses just one prim (including floor) and can be set to sizes from 20m up to 64m. Even at 64m the land impact is still one prim. The floor position can be set to positions from the bottom of the cube up to the centre.
SkyCube Controller

The controller also uses only one prim and can perform the following functions :-
Shows 8 different previews for panoramas so that you can set one by touching it. (20 panoramas included).
The previews can be changed to show floor textures and set them by touching one. (31 floor textures included).
You can load your own custom textures to walls and floor. (Wall textures will be copied to all 4 side walls).
Panorama and floor changes can be set private (owner only) or public (anyone). Menu access is always owner only.
Walls and floor can be set fullbright on or off.
Floor can be hidden. (transparent).
Floor height can be set from 0 (cube centre) to 9 (bottom of cube, effectively no floor).
Cube size can be set to 20m, 30m, 32m, 40m, 50m, 60m or 64m.
You can check for new versions at any time from the controller menu. Delivery of the new version is automatic.
Extra panorama packs are available. Each one gives you 8 new panoramas.
Viewing Panoramas

The panoramas will look best when viewed from the centre of the cube with the floor hidden (transparent). Make the cube as large as you can and set the floor height to look best for a particular panorama. The best floor position will vary depending on how the original picture was made.
If you have a house inside the cube you might want to set the floor height so that the panorama looks best from the room you spend most time in.

I love mine i got it when it was 999 that part sucked but its only 1 prim no matter then size and customizable

I've never seen such a bad thing, .. the 999 linden I could have thrown out of the window !!!!!!
pity, .. photos are great, .. the reality but not, ...
so was schlechtes habe ich noch nie gesehen,.. die 999 linden hätte ich auch aus dem Fenster schmeißen können!!!!!! schade,.. Fotos sind klasse,.. die Realität aber nicht,...sorry :((((
Good Product, Great Price, Excellent Service
This Skybox system is very good and the menu provides a lot of control so it is a good choice providing you don't rez several Skyboxes close together (need to be more than 100 m apart). My problem is that my Skybox controller will change the settings for all of the skyboxes nearby as I did not have the space to locate them so far apart. I sent an IM and Note Card to the builder and within a couple of hours Blueman Paul got back to me and gave me a Skybox controller that influenced less distance and so my rather close together skyboxes (60 m apart) work independently and my project development is back on-line. I needed to give each of RL students a Skybox that they could change to display their Food Security projects. This is a good product with excellent service. I consider this changeable Skybox system to be about the best value on the market.
