I always had a fondness for putting out these piercing piles because it's been this unusual sort of "call back" for me to the earlier days in the store. It always frustrated me that everyone needs or wants basic, little metal bits but the ones people provide are either horrible, or horribly overpriced.
It's been quite awhile now since I put out my last set, so you're all about due for a new one. I've learned a lot about making metal textures since then, and I went out of my way to make sure these all use a HUD this time around.
If you ever want to change the texture on your piercings, you don't need to redo the entire set anymore, you can just click a button! They can survive linking and unlinking just fine, so do whatever you want with them!

It's great but-
The off-center issue is pretty annoying. Some of the parts are more off center than others so when you're lining two pieces up and they're both off it's odd. But general concensis looking back on the reviews is to pick a color, remove all scripts by hand, and go from there.
The kit is great but hope these kinks are worked out when pile 4 comes out.

Things to note, yes it has a lot of scripts, yes it's off center. What I did was make a version of each metal and delete all scripts so you don't get yelled at or have to fiddle with removing stuff.
Off center is a minor issue, doesn't bother me.
The little triangle meshes are there to help you resize the mesh to be super small, it's helpful and better than the mesh boxes that we have on older packs.

Good piercings, good bits, but I nearly got kicked out of a sandbox for using it.
I like this pack. It's got a lot of pieces I need and have also been using it to accessorize my av's gear as some users suggested.
However, I didn't pay attention to someone's warning on the script usage. If you're not paying attention, your script usage goes pretty damn high.
Got up to a little over 200 active scripts. Here's the kicker though, these scripts were using a high amount of scripts and an admin of the sandbox I was in nearly booted me before we picked apart what could be wrong.
Sure enough this was it.
So take an example from one of the earlier reviews before getting to build: Pick a color, remove all the scripts, then pick it up. I don't see the benefit of changing the color "on the fly" unless you're using 1 or 2 piercings that are basic in assemblage. But if you're like me you want to go full HAM and make some works of art.
Cool stuff but it's off-center
I like the kit, but I don't get the small triangles.
I thought they were there for alignment sake to make sure things were center but the more I play with it the more things are off-center.
I didn't mind the boxes on the freebie kits since they seemed there for the same function, plus the kit was free and you don't complain about free shit (Legit, the freebie kit is god-tier for the fun stuff), but the tiny triangles seem to have no function other than needlessly add complexity.
But the alignment issue messes with making rotations and makes resizing a bit weird.

I don't want to be harsh on the criticism, but I paid for this and not only does everyone know you can do better, but we've all seen you do better. Don't sell yourself short, don't stop improving, and don't hash out something sloppy 'cus this be a little bit sloppy.
They're alright.
It offers fewer options than the second one, but it's good for gear crafting if you're looking for replacing buckles on bags for something a bit higher quality, and the chain option is nice.
But I do see the issue with the tiny triangles.
Yeah, they don't need to be there, and when you change the texture on them, they lose their alpha so they become small specs.
Not to mention the script time that ramps up because every piece holds a script. I think it'd do nicely if the hud came with an option to erase scripts when you're done. Otherwise when you do a piercing-heavy project it becomes a chore deleting them one by one.
If you use this in tandem with the previous one, it works out pretty good, but the only options I ended up using from this one would be the chains, and maybe the gender/empty heart symbols.The rest I plan on saving for buckles.
Would benefit from more things like an ankhs, a 4 leaf clover, maybe more card suit faces too like Spades and Diamonds. Like for the next one, I'd recommend just going all out on symbols.

I've been using the Piercing sets for ages, adding in every avatar that i can possibly have, they're wonderful! And i like that they took off the massive cubes, and now we got a texture changing HUDs.
This set includes new mesh, as far i can see, and it doesn't limit itself for piercing only, as there are other items like a heart or a bell to add onto a collar, or do funsies! I recommend it, when it comes to modding, you can't be really lazy to drag them onto the ground.
