These boots are "rigged mesh"
Rigged mesh objects are objects that can be worn and move along with your body's natural movement, will follow your avatar movement (to a certain extent) because they are "attached" to your avatar skeleton. They will bend with your avatar joints and stretch with height. This means the mesh is permanantly attached at certain points so rigged mesh items can NOT be resized or repositioned.
2 sizes are available with these boots. Small and large. There is no standard size in SL so they will not fit everyone and this is a current limitation of SL, exactly the reason always trying mesh demos is very important. (third time, I know, but it's for new people to mesh)
Mesh only adjusts to an avatar body with length, body thickness, and body width. All other aspects of a body shape are not adjusted so wearing the alpha layer is necessary. Wear the alpha layer as it hides parts of your avatar that would possibly show through the mesh. If you have more than one alpha layer for another piece of clothing, simply right click and select "add" instead of "wear" for the boot alpha layer.
To REMOVE mesh items you MUST go into your inventory and detach them. You can not click on your avatar and remove a mesh article of clothing.

These mesh over-the-knee boots are great!. They fit well, and look fabulous. I get lots of compliments on them. You can buy them individually for 69$L, so getting the equivalent of 12 pairs for 199$L is fantastic!

I've had a LOT of trouble with mesh products. So many mesh boots don't fit correctly - and they are useless to you if you get a pair that show your leg through them - nothing you can do about it. Demo demo demo. But these boots are affordable and they fit perfectly. I love the color changing HUD. Thank you for making a great product!
