Wonderful necklace once belonging to Catherine the Great, Empress of all Russias.
A great lover of jewelry, and the head of a court with an almost endless income, some of the most wonderful creations ended up in his hands, like this necklace, designed during the second half of the 18th century, depicting a bow tie, all set with small and large diamonds in bands on silver mounts and gold clasps on the front.
