The BotMaster Command HUD commands PikkuBots, SmartBots or ANY avatar/agent based bot that accepts commands via IMs.

It has 23 programmable buttons that will send YOUR favorite commands to up to 11 different bots with push-button ease. It doesn't matter if you have Pikkubots or SmartBots or a couple of each. You can command them all with this HUD.

You will also find a BotSeat Pose Pad rezzer with the new PadLock Remote Modeling System built in! This system is super-sweet and I'll get to it in just a bit. Read on.

The HUD is MOD/COPY so you can change it as you wish, but most importantly ... you can set your buttons to send the commands you use frequently ... and it will save you a LOT of typing as you command your bots.

The BotMaster Story...

This HUD is the result of spending WAY too much time with my bots. I build many things which require an assistant to sit for long periods of time while I adjust positions or build around them. I can't expect someone to just hang out here that long so bots work great for me, but typing commands gets old fast. I had to do something to make it faster & easier to get them to do what I wanted them to do.

I started a couple months ago with a very simple set of buttons that would send my common commands to my bots. Since then it has grown to include some very handy tools and the ability to command up to 11 bots (pikkubots, smartbots, etc...).

One of the most common uses for bots is, of course, modeling. Whether it's for product shots or creative photography they do come in handy. But constantly typing commands to them is a pain in the arse and it's quite time consuming as well.

Although I've spent much time tinkering with bots... I don't have much scripting experience. So I enlisted the help of Gaz Colter to help make the BotMaster Command HUD shine ... and we did. Along with fine tuning what I already had put together, he suggested that I load my BotSeat Pose Pads with his PadLock Remote Modeling System (this is very cool).

Touch a button on the HUD to rez a pose pad. Get your bot (or anyone) to sit on the pad and then YOU control the pose selection and rotation of the pad from the HUD. Once you have the model positioned as you wish, hide the pad from the scene and lock it so it will not move while you set another pose pad in place. The locked pad will remain locked until you (the owner) touch it ... and then you have full control of the pad again from your HUD.

The pads are Mod/Copy as well so you can add poses and animations to build on its modeling & display potential as you go.

As I mentioned before there are 23 programmable buttons that will send your favorite commands to 11 different bots (Pikkubots AND/OR SmartBots). However, you are in no way limited by this. You can add or remove buttons at any time. The script in the buttons is NO MOD, but it is COPY. All you need to do is add it to your new button and set it up as described in the instructions. To remove buttons simply unlink them from the HUD and delete them.

I've also added a rezzer button that you can load with furniture or whatever objects you want your bots to sit on and rez them out from a menu (load the button with COPY items and rez them as you needed without digging through your inventory). I've preloaded a couple fun examples of what can be done with this (you're sure to get a chuckle out of at least one of them).

What it all boils down to...

I wanted total control of my bots via push-button simplicity ... and I got it. Now you can have it too.

P.S. I realize I went a bit over the top with this HUD. Sorry, I got carried away. But I love it. I use this thing daily. It stays on the bottom of my screen nearly all the time. I do detach it when going to clubs and places where I don't need it ... UNLESS I take a bot with me. My SugarBots are far too cute to leave in the closet at home. :)

I know as I use my BotMaster Command HUD to command my bots I'll end up making changes and improve upon it as time passes. SO ... I'm adding this product to my update server and I've put an update fetcher in the box. Just rez it when new updates are available and the latest package will be delivered to you.
