Not a bad idea, but extremely disappointed.
For that price, the entire thing should've been mesh-rigged. Having a sculpted object used for the dress is not really eye-candy in this era of Second Life. The creation of this outfit or at least the dress and corset appear to be between 2013 and 2014, so I can't complain too much. I noticed the part in the description as well, but I decided to give it a shot. If we were still in 2007 - 2011, I'd say this product is amazing.
If the avatar doesn't move the body too much except for everything above the belt area, then this outfit can still be used, otherwise for those who have a slightly more active animation overrider where you move your legs a bit too much and wander around your avatar's center a little bit too much, this will look very unrealistic.
The details and the textures are very well done for its age. But because of the sculpted part, if you decide to wear everything including the keyhole, the dress alone draw around the 80K complexity. With a body like Maitreya and a mesh head, the complexity will definitely go over 100,000 which is not what you want. With an heavy update, I'd say this dress is worth it. But without one, I can't recommend it despite its high quality.
