Box o' Walls Box

Aloha!

This is a crazy big box of mesh. 868 full-perm mesh objects for building. Whether you want to build your own house or club or shop, have a house or shop that needs some changes, run a gallery that changes with every show, or are working on an event build and want to experiment with spaces, this is the kit for you. All you need are textures.

Let’s face it: building is fun. Blender isn’t. So we’ve uploaded all you need for the fun part. Walls, Corners, Walls with Doors, Walls with Windows, the Window Fills, Door Jambs, Extra Window Wall pieces, and Trim Pieces to give you design flexibility.

Our Wall units are each linked objects, inside and out, so you don’t have to hope the repeat on your outside texture matches the repeat on the inside texture. Texture them separately as linked objects. And in the windows the split happens mid-sill, so your sills look normal. The Window Fills can have the same texture inside and out, or different textures, and have two different systems to make it look like there is a frame present.

All our mesh pieces are Prim Objects and can all be linked without blocking doors or corners. Note: Linking any to a Convex Hull Object or regular prim will mess with that. Setting some to Convex Hull (flat walls, windows) can drop the prim count by one or two, so that is an option. Just don’t link them to the doors or corners. Another option is to set everything to phantom and bound anything you want to remain solid with unlinked, transparent, regular prims. Have I mentioned mesh is fun?

*If you ever can’t walk through a door or into a corner, check it in the Build Menu, Features Tab. Make sure the Physics Shape Type is set to Prim.

This set has everything in three heights, 3M, 4M, 5M. And nothing was simply stretched in-world. Everything was individually uploaded. Widths are 1M to 10M in one-meter intervals.

There are three window wall styles. All come in single and double (center mullion):
-Window - half-meter frames
-Big Window - fifth-meter frames
-Sill Window - half-meter frames top and sides, meter frame on the bottom

Window walls also come in both all-window and half-window (left or right) styles.

(Note: There are also C-shaped walls if you want to add an extra window on anywhere. They come in all three window styles and left and right.)

There are four door sizes:
-Regular Doors
-Tall Doors
-Regular Double Doors
-Tall Double Doors

There are two door wall styles:
-Center
-Side

(Note, Left and Right are determined facing the inside and looking out.)

In this box:

Walls - 1M to 10M wide. (Again, everything is in 3M, 4M, and 5M heights unless otherwise noted.)

Partial Walls - Good for low walls or creative patterns and window positions. 1M and 2M high, 1M to 10M wide.

Corners - So many corners, as all L-shape dimensions are included. Everything from 3Mx1Mx1M to 5Mx10Mx10M

Window Walls - Windows, Big Windows. Sill Windows, 1M or 2M to 10M wide.

Half Window Walls - The three window styles, with the window occupying one side of the wall. 2M or 3M to 10M wide.

Extra Windows - These are actually three-sided frame walls in the three styles, so you can add a window to the side of a wall or another window wherever you like. 1M to 10M wide.

Window Inserts - The glass parts!
-Window faces only. One with the same texture in and out, and one of two linked faces so you can put a different window inside and outside.
-Window glass with inner frame. This has a reversed-normal face around the faces, so if you look in through the glass you see something other than wall. It’s a separate linked object so you can texture it differently. This also comes in a version with separate glass faces inside and out.
-Window glass with recessed inner frame. Same as above, but with the frame inside the glass somewhat, for a sense of depth in the window frame. Adjustable, of course. And one with separate glass faces.

Door Jambs - Wide and Narrow. I’ll probably do a box of window frames next and throw these in again with them.

Trim Pieces - For whatever.
Plain Plane - Simple. Can be used for anything. Fully textured edge to edge to make adjusting the texture over the square simple. Good for ceilings and floors.
Verticals - All split inside and out so you can texture them separately or even use only one half. In Narrow and Wide. 1M-5M heights.
