Life Support Essentials: sci-fi Breather

What it is:
Synthetic Leaf; chlorophyll screen in hydration frame
What it does:
Filters and Recycles air; carbon dioxide to oxygen (your exhale, to your inhale).

Designed for closed-space atmospheres such as interior space-vessels.

Good care Guide;
regular spray-misting with simple H2O and sufficient sunlight to mimic natural M-class planet ambience. Night & Day cycles are unnecessary for the Breather, it works continuously. Use of fragrance in the water will add scent to the breather's oxygen output.

The Breather is provided in 2 varieties:

Breather Screen for decor (CM/nt)
Breather Cube for functionality (CM/nt)

One cube serves one person in realtime, breath for breath. One cube provides the same yield of oxygen volume per breath as 8 fully grown trees. This is based on real world dynamics. For purposes of fictional role-playing games and resolving cyberspace premiums it is usual that the Screen will have to symbolize the Cube and therefore provide the yield of 8 trees. The screen can be wall-mounted like a painting or ceiling-mounted for convenience. It is organic and self-healing. The Cube is merely a rack of Screens, stacked like trays of a bee hive. Simply rezz the Cube and click on it to dispense screens (an unlimited supply). Then Rezz the screen.

All Screens have the same texture pattern. While the item is fully Mod to enable you to upload your own texture, look out also for the Breather BoosterPack which contains a variety of alternative patterns including dry-paper-leaf and the exotic blue-leaf for higher humidity, and the Breather Orchid&Liana add-on pack for a more tropical environment.

The Screen and its Frame are Linked and set to Features / Physics Shape Type: Convex Hull and set to Object: Phantom.
Therefore their Prim cost is 2 and their combined Land Impact is 1 per screen.

For added atmosphere it is recomended that you increase the Texture / Glow to 0.1 to the green textures, although in busy sims the use of Glow is known to be a factor which increases lag.
