Protect your creations against common “bad placement” situations and misuse environments. Creator Protector PRO monitors where it is used and can automatically switch into a Safe Disable Mode when something looks wrong.
SCRIPT PERMISSIONS (IMPORTANT)
- The script is delivered as NO MODIFY to protect the code.
- Permission editions may differ. The listing title / the box you purchased is the only valid reference.
- Reminder: Object permissions are limited by the most restrictive item inside. If you add a NO TRANS script into an object, the final object cannot be transferred.
- If you need your final products to stay transferable (NO COPY / TRANS products), you must use a TRANS edition of this script.
- If your products are usually COPY / NO TRANS (most creators), a NO TRANS edition is normally perfect and safer.
WHAT IT DOES (CORE FEATURES)
- Region Lock
Optional. Lock the object to the current region name. If moved to another region, it disables itself.
- Sandbox Protect
Optional. Detects “sandbox” locations (region or parcel name contains “sandbox”) and disables.
- No-Script Parcel Protect
Optional. If parcel scripts are disabled, the object disables.
- Payment Info Check (owner)
Optional. Checks the owner’s payment info status. If missing, it disables.
- Creator Lock
Optional. Stores the original creator key and disables if creator does not match.
- UUID Lock (stored in Object Description)
Optional. On first run the script writes the object UUID into the description using this format:
[BTUUID]<key>|(your existing description)
Copies inherit the description. If the current object UUID does not match the stored UUID, the object disables.
- Status Log
Tracks last disable reason, timestamp, and how many times it disabled.
- Safe Disable Mode
The object becomes non-intrusive (phantom + very low alpha) and shows a clear hover message explaining the reason.
IMPORTANT: UNDERSTAND THE UUID LOCK
UUID Lock is designed to protect a single master object from being duplicated or re-rezzed as unauthorized copies.
Because each copy has a different UUID, UUID Lock will disable copies.
If you want to include this system inside products you sell as copyable items, you must disable UUID Lock (or keep it OFF by default in your workflow). Region Lock / Sandbox / No-Script / Creator Lock still work without UUID Lock.
PERMISSIONS & USAGE (READ BEFORE BUYING)
This product may be sold in different permission editions. Always follow the edition you purchased.
If your products are usually COPY / NO TRANS (most creators)
You typically do NOT need transfer permissions on this script, because your end product is not transferable anyway.
If your products are NO COPY / TRANS
You may require a TRANS edition so your finished product remains transferable (inventory permissions “stack”).
LICENSE SUMMARY (SIMPLE RULES)
You may:
- Use this script inside your own creations.
- Sell your finished products that include this script, as allowed by the edition you bought.
You may NOT:
- Resell or redistribute the script as a standalone script.
- Put the script in a “script pack”, “full perm kit”, or any product that exposes the script as the main value.
- Share the script freely outside of your own products.
IN-WORLD USE
- Rez your object, drop the script in, touch it as owner to open the menu.
- Use Status / Recheck anytime to see current state.
