I needed some broken window textures for my grungy wasteland fishing area building which didn't have any...so had a look in the marketplace. All that was available were multi frames or full frames of broken windows. I just needed a 1, 2 and 3 frame to dot about.
Having had no luck I decided to do some myself the way I wanted them and to be honest they look great. You can visit my area at the below link to take a look at them in situ.

1x1 unbroken single pane dirty
1x2 panes dirty with a corner break in one of the panes
1x1 pane with a centre smash, dirty
1x1 broken edge pane, dirty
1x3 pane unbroken dirty with a slight crack on one
All are textures on prim and can be copied, have as many or as little out as you need, can be resized, made more transparent or tinted a different colour to make them a little unique to the colours of your building.
Remember you are purchasing textures on prims to slip into a window gap and not the surrounding frame...
